25th Annual 18th-Century Market Fair

Through their participation at the Market Fair and their many and varied portrayals of 18th century personas and life, our event participants provide a taste of what it was like to ‘go to the fair’ in colonial America. The Fort Frederick Market Fair is an excellent opportunity to learn about, or increase ones knowledge of, the French and Indian War and the role that historic Fort Frederick played in both that conflict and as a bastion on the Maryland frontier during and after that struggle.
